GES was originally called Texas Tutors and was formed to support scholars that struggled with meeting their academic goals but did not have the financial resources to hire a private tutor. Founder and Chief Executive Officer, LaToya Gibson begin private tutoring school-age children. After having more than 25 clients she wanted to serve more scholars at one time. She began seeking contracts that positively affects minority children in disadvantaged communities. She launched Texas Tutors and got her first school opportunity with Fort Worth Independent School District then Buckner International, tutoring students during the school day and after school.

When school officials begin hearing about the service Texas Tutors, offered more leaders wanted to use our services. Every year we partner with new districts and schools to continue to build an atmosphere within education that having tutors and/or interventionists on campuses across the nation is a necessity; as it bridges gaps and supports scholars in achieving long and short-term goals.
